This is the weekly training of the "Dancing Neighbours" with dance teacher Terrry Pedersen Pfeiffer. Older people aged 60+ prepare here for performances in the Capital of Culture year. The project organised by Team Generation in collaboration with Tanz I Moderne I Tanz under the artistic direction of Japanese choreographer Yoko Ando aims to enable older people to get moving, get together with like-minded people and stay active and healthy.

Dancing neighbours

The focus of the ‘Tanzende Nachbarn’ movement workshops is on joint movement and networking between neighbourhoods.As part of the European Capital of Culture Chemnitz 2025, Team Generation is entrusted with the participation of children, young people, young adults and older people and is developing a programme that takes up and combines their perspectives.
