The Dancing Neighbours project is launching a new open dance class for anyone who enjoys movement and would like to dance together.

No previous experience is required. The group is aimed at interested people of all ages and is also open to volunteers. The focus is on experiencing movement together and an uncomplicated introduction to dance practice.

The format serves as preparation for further ensemble work with Dancing Neighbours . Those who wish can grow out of this introductory group into the more in-depth activities of the project.

The focus of the ‘Tanzende Nachbarn’ movement workshops is on joint movement and networking between neighbourhoods.As part of the European Capital of Culture Chemnitz 2025, Team Generation is entrusted with the participation of children, young people, young adults and older people and is developing a programme that takes up and combines their perspectives.
