The boundless view of women at Kunst.Hand.Werk. continues. The well-known Chemnitz artist Mica Kempe has been invited to the Lila Villa for a solo exhibition.

Mica Kempe uses all kinds of materials in her cross-border work. She puts interesting finds in her trouser pockets. She collects seeds, kernels and thorns in an annual cycle. Free or strict arrangements become compositions of intuitive work. Structures are formed from seams and lines. Rows repeat themselves endlessly. The showcases are biotopes of small gaps and things.
Personal items of clothing become slides for metamorphoses.
