Jazz musician and photographer Till Brönner travelled through the Ruhr region a few years ago and portrayed the former mining and industrial region and its miners. A selection of pictures can be seen at KohleWelt. On display until 18 August 2025.

The PURPLE PATH art and sculpture trail presents permanent contemporary sculptures in public spaces and tells stories from Chemnitz and 38 communities in the region. Works by more than 60 artists are on display.
