Once the lights are lit, it finally gets cosy and festive. If you would like to create a very special light for this festive season, you will certainly enjoy making your own felted lanterns. Wet felting with very thin layers of wool creates a delicate candle cover that softens the light in the glass. The candle holders can be finished off with beads and other materials. Of course, tea and home-baked biscuits are part and parcel of such a glowing pre-Christmas craft meeting.
