FUNKEN Workshop: Creative methods of project work

Every day, projects are confronted with problems that require creative ideas and solutions. In this workshop, participants will become familiar with a catalogue of artistic methods that help to understand and communicate complex processes.

In this 3.5-hour workshop, practical exercises will be used to develop the strategies of Artistic Research as a tool for a change of perspective in organisational development and communication. Participants can discuss specific implementation ideas for their organisation in small teams.

Emanuel Mathias is an artist and researcher. He deals with distance-proximity relationships in interdisciplinary contexts between the documentary and the speculative, art and society as well as man and nature. From 2017 to 2024, as part of his Artistic Ph.D. at the Bauhaus University Weimar, he researched the proximity-distance relationship of biologists studying the behaviour of great apes.
