Friends meet friends - Friends of the PURPLE PATH e.V.
A joint tour along the PURPLE PATH leads to six works of art in six towns in the region. Starting in Chemnitz, the tour leads through the mining towns of Ehrenfriedersdorf, Zwönitz, Schwarzenberg, Schneeberg and Lößnitz to the works of Osmar Osten, Carl Emanuel Wolff, Nevin Aladağ, Bettina Pousttchi, Sean Scully and Uli Aigner. PURPLE PATH curator Alexander Ochs will guide visitors through the artworks; local actors will join them in the individual cities. At the end, the mayor of Lößnitz, Alexander Troll, invites you to coffee and cake.
The journey will be made in private cars; the Friends of the PURPLE PATH e.V. will organise car pools. Anyone interested can contact anmeldung(at)friends-purplepath.eu by email.
The meeting point is at 9.15 am at the sculpture Oben-Mit by Osmar Osten on Schillerplatz in Chemnitz, the end of the tour is planned for around 4.30 pm in Lößnitz.
