At the final planting festival of Gelebte Nachbarschaft, hundreds of apple trees will be planted together in Chemnitz and the Capital of Culture Region from 19 to 26 October 2025.

Get to work, grab a spade and plant the future! And of course, we must not forget to celebrate, especially on the 125th anniversary of the fire brigade.

To celebrate this special anniversary, those involved in the Langenchursdorf district are planting apple trees as a living symbol of their commitment to the community. The local council and, of course, the entire neighbourhood are also involved!
