Caring for apple trees properly is not that easy. Many questions arise, especially when pruning fruit trees: should this branch be pruned, will that branch become the trunk extension and what is a sap balance? In this basic course with theory and practice, planting partners first receive all the essential information in theory. The practical implementation takes place on a meadow orchard in Chemnitz on a separate date.
At the final planting festival of Gelebte Nachbarschaft, hundreds of apple trees will be planted together in Chemnitz and the Capital of Culture Region from 19 to 26 October 2025.
