Sonnenleithe primary school gets apple trees - and the pupils lend a hand. Planting shows that it is both fun and responsible. Watering, pruning, caring together - so that the trees later bear lots of fruit. So put on your wellies and let's go!

At the final planting festival of Gelebte Nachbarschaft, hundreds of apple trees will be planted together in Chemnitz and the Capital of Culture Region from 19 to 26 October 2025.
