Event information

Date & Time

Location

Chemnitz, orchard meadow at Schenkenberg

entrance free

The orchard meadow at Schenkenberg in Chemnitz is particularly worth a visit today: 30 apple trees are being planted so that the meadow will continue to bear plenty of fruit in the future. NABU Regionalverband Erzgebirge e.V., experienced planting professionals who have been looking after the meadow for a long time, will provide valuable tips and knowledge about planting trees. Planting is expressly encouraged - so come along, lend a hand and become part of the apple diversity!

At the final planting festival of Gelebte Nachbarschaft, hundreds of apple trees will be planted together in Chemnitz and the Capital of Culture Region from 19 to 26 October 2025.

Get to work, grab a spade and plant the future!
