As part of the Capital of Culture Year 2025, we cordially invite you to a moving hour under the motto "C THE UNSEEN", which focuses on an often overlooked topic: the invisible challenges and silent suffering of children of addicted parents.

Children who live with the addiction of one or both parents are often overshadowed by the problem - a shadow that can shape their entire lives and prevent them from developing to their full potential. On this afternoon, experts from the fields of addiction support and therapy will share insights into their work and shed light on ways that can lead out of this shadow.

The event will be accompanied by the artist Hanna Nitsch, with whom a charity edition will be created. The proceeds from this limited edition will go directly to the work of Stadtmission Chemnitz to provide valuable support to affected families and children in particular.
