Chemnitz will remain the European Capital of Culture 2025, even after the title year. The city of Chemnitz is now working on securing the long-term effects of Chemnitz 2025 and taking them into the future. The success of the Capital of Culture year is the basis for new initiatives, ideas and projects that are now being developed. The aim is to consolidate structures that have grown up in the process so far, revitalise new locations and continue to create opportunities for active participation. In the so-called Bridge Year 2026, the course will be set for the legacy, the sustainable legacy of the Capital of Culture.

The Info Café offers the opportunity to gain an insight into the current work steps, ask questions and exchange ideas on how the positive impetus of Chemnitz 2025 can be secured for Chemnitz and the entire region in the long term. Employees of the city administration will be present to provide information on the various topics.
