2026 is the so-called "bridge year" between the activities of the European Capital of Culture Chemnitz 2025 and what will grow out of it in Chemnitz and the Capital of Culture region in the future. There is an opportunity to contribute your own ideas and projects to help shape this bridge year. At an event on 11 February 2026 in the Hartmannfabrik, we will provide information about various open calls for micro-projects. Dates, application modalities and practical tips for implementation will be announced there and also on all Chemnitz 2025 channels.
