The four musicians of the Micro Oper München have made a selection from John Cage's famous collection of experimental concept pieces between music and theatre and follow four individual paths through this great building. The singer Cornelia Melián, the pianist Masako Ohta, the noise and video artist Anton Kaun and the composer and electronic musician Ernst Bechert have very different approaches to interpretation. But their paths cross again and again. Which rules apply? What role does chance play? Cage combines complex experimentation with surprise and humour in a light-footed way.
