Lantern parade

On a winter's night, people come together to parade through Chemnitz in a colourful procession and light up the city.

Music and artistically designed lanterns lead the way, led by a giant lantern - all created, built and performed by the people of Chemnitz in the weeks beforehand. Each lantern carries an individual story - of a person, a place, a journey.

Created meeting places where all people can be creative, whether with or without previous musical experience!

Programme:

17.30 hrs: Meeting point project room hotsuper, Brühl 71
18.00-19.00: Parade with music and self-made lanterns
19.00-20.00: Closing event in the Open Space with music and soup (Brückenstraße 10, hinter'm Nischl)
