Teresa Pinheiro has been working as a Portuguese Germanist and anthropologist at Chemnitz University of Technology for many years and has been recruited for the portrait series "Being a woman in". She will link private, personal aspects with the lives of women in Portugal. Teresa Pinheiro will report on the everyday lives of women in an economic situation in transition, discuss the influence of the Catholic Church and look at women in their lives as wives, mothers and partners. As is tradition, she will bring something culinary from Portugal with her.
