Participants can gain their first experience with a soldering iron by working with so-called blinky parts. These are electronic kits that have been developed primarily for soldering workshops and creative electronics projects. They consist of small circuit boards with LEDs, resistors and sometimes microcontrollers, which are made to light up by soldering when assembled. The finished blinky parts can be used as pins, jewellery or small light installations. Glowing cats, blinking alpacas - it gets wild in the Lehngericht.
The Chaostreff Chemnitz (ChCh) is an open association of technology enthusiasts who are interested in topics relating to IT, network politics and digital culture and feel close to the Chaos Computer Club.
Participation is free of charge; there is a material fee of 5 euros for the soldering kit.
Anyone who would like to try out soldering and immerse themselves in the world of electronics is cordially invited. Questions and registrations are possible at any time.
