Garden and landscape architect Andrea Alter greened the forecourt of the Kulturkaufhaus in 2024 and 2025. In conversation with Ferenc Csák, Head of the Department of Cultural Affairs, both explain what motivated the redesign, how ideas for it matured and what green developments can be expected in Chemnitz.
