How does a piece of wood become a personal everyday object? In the micro-project ‘Between Wood and Culture – Make Your Own Chopsticks’ , participants craft their own chopsticks from local wood whilst learning about fascinating aspects of Japanese dining and material culture. The project combines craftsmanship, sustainability and cultural exchange in a practical and accessible way. Afterwards, we’ll enjoy a vegan/vegetarian ramen meal together. With chopsticks, of course.
