Following a successful first workshop with nearly 20 participants, “Skate of the Art” is back for its second round. This time, we’re inviting you to the vectorlab in Chemnitz.

SKATE OF THE ART combines urban skate culture with artistic design: you can paint, spray-paint, engrave or print on skateboard decks, and take home a truly one-of-a-kind creation at the end.
You’ll have the chance to let your creativity run wild using a range of techniques:

💦 Spraying: using stencils
🖌️ Drawing & painting: using pens and acrylic paint
💍 Upcycling: old boards are turned into jewellery
🖨️ Linocut printing: directly onto the board
⛏️ Dremel: personalised engravings

IMPORTANT!
We’ve only got a few blank decks left – if you’d like to design one, it’s best to book it in advance by emailing: longboard.chemnitz@gmail.com.
Otherwise, just bring your own deck along.

Keep up to date with the latest news via our Instagram channel: @longboard.chemnitz

The workshop is aimed at anyone who fancies getting creative and doing some craft work, or who’d like to try out new techniques. We look forward to seeing you there! 🛹✨

PS: 🥖Sharing is caring 🥒 As there isn’t much time to prepare or order food during the four hours, please feel free to bring a small snack to share with the group on our food-sharing table.
