30.000 garages are located in the city of Chemnitz, most of which were built collectively and by the residents themselves during the GDR era. The #3000Garage-Parcours invites you to take a stroll through the Chemnitz garage landscape. The 10 stations of the trail can be visited from Saturday 5 April. They will then be open all day until the end of the year.

On Saturday, there will also be a daytime programme at three selected stations. Of course, the other stations are also waiting to be discovered!

12.30-14.00: Garage yard Am Schützenplatz, Altendorfer Str. 98 (past no. 98, all the way up the hill to the barrier in front of the large garage yard)
The garage association invites you to a barbecue and opens the world's smallest garage museum.

15.30-16.15: Remise of Villa Esche, Richard-Wagner-Str. 55
Coffee break at the oldest garage in the city.

18.00-19.30: Garage courtyard Theaterstraße, Theaterstraße 70
On the opening day, the garage bar invites you to enjoy an after-work drink.
