What does fear do to us? Fear is an intense feeling that we all know. It can warn us, shake us awake or even paralyse us. The Pavilion of Fear, which is travelling through Chemnitz in the run-up to the exhibition Edvard Munch. Angst, which is travelling through Chemnitz in the run-up to the exhibition, will create a special place of encounter. Anyone who is curious is cordially invited to discover new perspectives and enter into dialogue with other people about this strong feeling.

A diverse programme will be offered with various participants from the fields of culture, music, art, sport and theatre. From making music together and creative writing to exercise programmes - there is something for everyone! Fear is not only seen as something negative here, but also as a force that can drive us to tackle change and grow personally.

On Tuesday, June 17th and Wednesday, June 18th, the TU Library Chemnitz will once again be hosting a reading together with Eleonore Keck from Paperento Verlag (3:30 - 4 pm).

On Thursday June19th, the Paper Lantern Collective will perform at the Pavilion of Fear for the first, but not the last time. It is the first democratic community music collective in Germany and aims to overcome social boundaries and bring people together through music to celebrate shared creativity (15:00-16:00). From 17:00, the topic of music will continue with Alexandra Takats' Musik Klang Gespräch and individual visitors will be offered an open discussion round with sound elements to try out and exchange ideas.
