The PERSPEKTIVEN film festival is part of the youth education project "zum beiSPIEL:MENSCHENRECHTE!" from Kulturhaus Arthur in Chemnitz.
The project focuses on teaching children's and human rights.
The aim is to sensitise children and young people to this topic and to empower them.
With the spin-off PERSPEKTIVEN - Film Festival for Human Rights, we want to give young people space for their interests and perspectives. As part of the youth film jury, young people can contribute their topics, select suitable films and shape the festival.
Through the medium of film, the festival aims to draw attention to the grievances in our society and engage in dialogue with visitors!

That's why we launched a three-day film festival for human rights at the Metropol Kino Chemnitz in autumn 2023.

in 2024, the festival entered its second round and took place at the Weltecho cinema. In 2025, the festival will be extended to four days and will once again take place in the Weltecho cinema.
