Picnic & vinyl records meets the art festival Begehungen

The Generation team of the European Capital of Culture Chemnitz 2025 invites you to a picnic.

The picnic basket contains LPs from the past and something to eat and drink. A DJ will play the vinyl records professionally and we'll listen to the music, tell each other stories about the bands, favourite songs and experiences and enjoy the culinary delights.

We look forward to the rarities from the record cabinets! Of course you can dance, swing and chat into the twilight. Drinks and snacks will also be available on site. You are welcome to bring your own picnic basket to expand the buffet! We are happy to serve music from Leonard Cohen to the Stones, from Led Zeppelin to David Bowie, from Elvis to The Doors or whatever else you can find in your record cabinet.
