In the final planting festival of Gelebte Nachbarschaft, hundreds of apple trees will be planted together in Chemnitz and the Capital of Culture Region from 19-26 October 2025: get to work, grab a spade and plant the future, don't forget to look after and celebrate.

The neighbourhood from near and far is cordially invited to create the future together - with a new orchard in Zwickau! Bring spades, gloves and a good mood and make sure that the young trees can put down firm roots.
