In Chemnitz-Glösa, it's not just bowling and sport - now there's planting too! On the grounds of the Glösa leisure centre, the new apple trees are creating even more greenery in the district. Neighbours work together.

At the final planting festival of Gelebte Nachbarschaft, hundreds of apple trees will be planted together in Chemnitz and the Capital of Culture Region from 19 to 26 October 2025.
