Sometimes you just don't have enough space - and yet a school grounds can become really green! There is already a small raised-bed school garden at the "Georg Götz" support centre , and today two apple trees are being added. This will make the school grounds even greener, even more joyful with apples alongside vegetables and herbs and the pupils even more committed.

 

At the final planting festival of Gelebte Nachbarschaft, hundreds of apple trees will be planted together in Chemnitz and the Capital of Culture Region from 19 to 26 October 2025.
