In the final planting festival of Gelebte Nachbarschaft, hundreds of apple trees will be planted together in Chemnitz and the Capital of Culture Region from 19-26 October 2025: get to work, grab a spade and plant the future, don't forget to look after and celebrate.

The Sommerlust allotment garden association already has plenty of expert knowledge about fruit and vegetables: the neighbours are planting a few new apple trees here and enriching the diversity of varieties.
