The members of Stadtlicht-Kirche für Chemnitz and the Wittgensdorf neighbourhood are planting a row of apple trees! The youngest members of the congregation are particularly active: they lend a hand and are ready for any care until the harvest. To celebrate the planting, the parents of the Stadtlicht-Kids provide cake and coffee.

At the final planting festival of Gelebte Nachbarschaft, hundreds of apple trees will be planted together in Chemnitz and the Capital of Culture Region from 19 to 26 October 2025.
