Singing together just before Christmas in St Jakobi Church in Chemnitz has a long tradition and attracts hundreds of people every year who are warmed by the sound of the organ and the many voices. From "Silent Night, Holy Night" to "Merry Christmas Everywhere" and "A Horse Has Risen", a colourful repertoire of well-known Advent and Christmas carols echoes through the church. Steffen Walther accompanies on the organ. Young and old are welcome to get in the mood for Christmas Eve together. A musical experience full of anticipation, contemplation and togetherness.
