How does it feel when family is not what is needed? What if your family only accepts you if you are not yourself? How do you deal with the decision to 'leave or stay'? And are there alternatives?

In the interactive performance QR61 in space and time, the German and Romanian artist collective invites the audience to a special encounter: Together, they come into contact with a spaceship full of queer aliens in constant flux and without a fixed form. Between stage, spaceship and audience, an exchange about family, acceptance and appreciation, about deeply human desires and needs as well as all the conflicts that can arise from this unfolds.

Video elements, live performances and participatory moments interweave to create an evening in which perspectives, thoughts and ideas are shared. The search for answers to the question of belonging creates an empowering experience for queers and an enlightening offer for allies. Methods of solidarity will be presented to promote a common understanding.
