Queereeoké is an ecstatic show, a club night experience and a safer space for queer audiences, friends and allies. Founded in Hamburg, Germany in 2012, it has quickly become a staple of the local queer performance scene, providing an interactive structure that helps empower and connect the audience members. The team creates an unforgettable moment for each individual who gets on stage, using karaoke, spontaneous back-up dancing, performance anarchy, subversive humor and inventive costume, prop and stage design. An accessible stage and the unconditional support mechanism in the room transform the night into the ultimate utopia of a queer world society with its own rules and space for everyone. Queereeoké is the comeback of the queer club – an endangered species in subculture: passionate protest, radical softness, consensual sex-positive atmosphere and queer stage presence, from dirty to diva – following the liberating principle: it’s not how you sing, it’s what you bring!

with the Hamburg and Berlin based performers Jazzy Jes, Scout Wölfli, Wendy Licious, Danny Banany, Dancingsven and Bixa Preta.
