The City-Bahn is a great way to explore some of the works of art on the Purple Path. On this tour, the City-Bahn (line C15) first takes you from Chemnitz main station to Hainichen. After visiting the artwork "Endless Column" (Stijn Ank), there is some time to explore the birthplace of Christian Fürchtegott Gellert and Friedrich Gottlob Keller. Afterwards, the City-Bahn will take you to Braunsdorf, where there are two works of art - "My Floating Home" (Karolin Schwab) and "Mapping Patters: Industrial Flora" (Anja Schwörer). Participants who do not wish to travel back to Chemnitz immediately afterwards are welcome to pay a visit to the show weaving mill in the immediate vicinity of the artworks.
