The Serious Games Conference will focus on the status quo and current issues surrounding the topic of "serious games". This event will not only alternate between concise impulses from experts and interactive formats, we would also like to take a look at some fields that are particularly relevant for the Capital of Culture, for example the event industry, tourism or the cultural and creative industries. All interested parties are welcome!

The Serious Games Maker Days are a meeting place for professional game developers to exchange ideas, co-create and discuss current trends. They ensure that playful principles are applied in education, tourism and business.The Serious Games Maker Days are part of the Makers, Business & Arts programme. This main project of the European Capital of Culture Chemnitz 2025 is all about promoting creative tourism offerings and cross-sector collaboration between industry and creative professionals. The project is being implemented by the Kulturhauptstadt Europas Chemnitz 2025 gGmbH in cooperation with the Landesverband der Kultur- und Kreativwirtschaft Sachsen e. V.
