Programme:
On 3 May, the sleepover project Schlaf Schön! begins with an official opening at 3 pm, accompanied by music and words of welcome. The new farm café ‘Esspress O Yourself’ will also open (from 10 am).

About the project:
Spend the night in a work of art? It's possible at the Bochmann organic farm in Neukirchen-Adorf. Instead of dairy cows, the farm now offers creative overnight accommodation for hikers and nature lovers. Design students have developed mobile sleeping cells - known as ‘Very Tiny Houses’ - made from unusual materials such as barrels, trampolines and wheelbarrows. The offer is complemented by an ecological kitchen station and self-designed seating furniture. You can spend the night in the middle of the paddock: you choose your spot on a large meadow and roll your bed there - just as the mood takes you.

In the hot summer of 2018, the Bochmann organic farmers had to sell their dairy cattle. Since then, they have been providing simple overnight accommodation for hikers and pilgrims. Together with students from the Faculty of Applied Arts Schneeberg at the West Saxon University of Applied Sciences Zwickau, the Schlaf Schön! project was created as part of the PURPLE PATH art and sculpture trail.

Overnight stays can be booked online at ↗schlafschoen-bochmann.de (overnight stays from 13 euros).
