The four works of art of the municipalities are made visible and audible in an immersive spatial sound installation. The animated images broadcast on a curved monitor are accompanied by the specially composed sound via 16 loudspeakers. The installation can also be viewed on special occasions in the Buntspeicher and at the Greifensteine tourist information centre until the end of April.

The PURPLE PATH art and sculpture trail presents permanent contemporary sculptures in public spaces and tells stories from Chemnitz and 38 communities in the region. Works by more than 60 artists are on display.
