You just can't get enough of the written, read or performed word? But you want to let off steam yourself and see what your inner self, your thoughts and your voice put down on paper?
Then come to our Spektakel writing workshop at the Garage Campus. From 18 April until September, you will have the opportunity to network with other writing enthusiasts and try your hand at it once a month. The event will take place in the creative workshop at the Garage Campus.
The writing workshops are led by experienced authors from the fields of theatre and books. They will give you tricks and tools to help you make your texts really round. It doesn't matter whether you already have experience or are a complete novice who just wants to try it out.
- We welcome all age groups, all levels of experience and your curiosity.
- The events are accessible and participation is free of charge.
- So get your writing courage together and come along, try it out and lend your voice to the texts.
The first workshop will be led by Stefanie Menschner. She is a poetry slamer, author, copywriter, presenter and improvisation theatre actress. She has been performing on stage since she was 12 years old and has been slamming for over 8 years. Her book "stets bemüht" was published in 2022 and is an anthology of many different short stories. She is also a member of Spektakel Chemnitz e.V. and has been a Chemnitz resident for 7 years now. She is just as excited as you are and is really looking forward to seeing everyone there (she said so herself).
