Twisting and crossing threads - that is the basic principle of bobbin lace making. This simple technique gives rise to the greatest sophistication and variety in filigree works of lace art. This special course focuses on a modern form of bobbin lace making: simple shapes are first created from stainless steel and black wire and then carefully bobbin-laced to create a fascinating 3D effect. In this way, unusual jewellery objects are created that combine tradition and contemporary design. The course is aimed at experienced bobbin lacemakers who would like to expand their craft skills.
