Stroll through Seiffen and Olbernhau with a varied programme

The journey from Olbernhau to Seiffen can be made on the 452 bus from Olbernhau station at 09:28, arriving at the Seiffen Open-Air Museum at around 10:11.
The hike begins at 10.20 a.m. with a guided tour of the Seiffen Open-Air Museum, during which Alice Aycock's Twister Again will also be presented. The route then leads to the toy fountain, which will be inaugurated opposite the toy museum. The duo "That's IT" will provide musical entertainment. There will be watercress snacks for refreshment.
A special bus will depart for Olbernhau to Jay Gard's PLYWOODat around 12.45 pm. On site, the Volksbank Mittleres Erzgebirge will ceremonially hand over a viewing bench. Here too, "That's IT" will provide musical accompaniment to the programme, while the Olbernhau Tourist Association will provide refreshments for the guests.
The special guided tour "From railway station to post office" begins at 14:00. The historic staircase and the vaulted ceiling of the post office will be visited and the Olbernhau carillon will be played.
The return journey from Olbernhau to Seiffen can be made at 15:28 on bus route 452 from Olbernhau station, arriving at the Seiffen Open-Air Museum at around 16:11.

Tip: Additional exhibition 150 years of the Flöhatalbahn in the Olbernhau town museum.

Registration is not mandatory, but is possible at the tourist information centres in Seiffen and Olbernhau.

The PURPLE PATH art and sculpture trail presents permanent contemporary sculptures in public spaces and tells stories from Chemnitz and 38 communities in the region. Works by more than 60 artists are on display.
