Chemnitz author Stefan Tschök is visiting all 38 cities and municipalities along the Purple Path in 2025. Not only is he presenting his book "Was? Chemnitz?!" (engl. What? Chemnitz?!), a tongue-in-cheek instruction manual for the Capital of Culture, but he also wants to engage in dialogue with the residents: What do the local residents actually gain from the Capital of Culture title? What do they get out of it - and how can they get involved?
These questions are at the centre of the panel discussion, in which guests from the town always provide answers - as does the audience. In addition to Tschök, Ingo Schelter, who is responsible for culture in Hohenstein-Ernstthal, will take a seat in the Trausaal in the town hall and provide information. The Purple Path artworks "Motorbike" and "Medusa Motorbike" will also be discussed. The event is part of the Hohensteiner Spätlese programme.
