Author Stefan Tschök is visiting all 38 cities and municipalities along the Purple Path in 2025. He will not only be presenting his book "What? Chemnitz?!", a tongue-in-cheek instruction manual for the Capital of Culture, but also wants to engage in dialogue with the residents: What do we actually get out of the Capital of Culture title locally? What are the benefits for us - and how can we get involved?

These questions are at the centre of the panel discussion, in which guests from the town always provide answers - as does the audience. Tschök will be joined in the Zschopau Bürgersaal by: Musician Elke Böhm, songwriter Thomas Franke-Gernhardt and Hanne Franken, head of the culture and tourism organisation. They will be talking about works of art on the Purple Path and whether (and how) Zschopau was able to benefit from the glamour of the Capital of Culture year. Admission is free.
