When the boundaries between circus and dance become blurred, the Teatime Company's hybrid movement language emerges, translating complex ideas into accessible, charming performances - full of subtle humour and evocative images. For "Ripple", for example, a huge metal spiral was specially built to impressively explore themes such as balance, influence, power, flow and friction. While the spiral rolls around the stage in an endless circle, the performers are constantly exposed to new challenges. The stage becomes a playing field and any unexpected movement can change the entire situation. A visually and physically fascinating performance that stimulates both the senses and the imagination.
