After 173 apple trees planted as part of Living Neighbourhood, the main project of Chemnitz European Capital of Culture 2025, plums, cherries and berries will be planted for everyone who wants to join in and harvest.

LIVING NEIGHBOURHOOD

GELEBTE NACHBARSCHAFT is a main project of the European Capital of Culture Chemnitz 2025, focussing on sustainability and a green city. Joint planting campaigns bring neighbourhoods in Chemnitz and the Capital of Culture region closer together. The participatory project is flanked by suitable educational programmes and artistic activities.
