Create something special with fabric, needle and thread - a small bag for personal treasures.

In this workshop, participants can sew their own little bag - perfect for keeping small treasures safe!

Together they will learn the basics of sewing in a fun way. Simple stitches and techniques are used to create unique little bags that can be taken home at the end. The workshop is open to everyone - regardless of whether they have any previous knowledge of sewing or not.

Suitable for everyone aged 10 and over.

The course will be led by Ina Goetz. She is an activist for more textile awareness, founder of UNDOYARN and a regular workshop leader at the Augustusburg textile workshop.

 

The workshop is part of the event series ‘333 Hours Workshop of Wonders’, a project within the framework of the European Capital of Culture Chemnitz 2025. This measure is co-financed by tax funds on the basis of the budget adopted by the Saxon State Parliament and by federal funds from the Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and the Media as well as by funds from the City of Chemnitz.
