In the Annaberg ceramics workshop, those interested can learn how a handmade vessel is created from a cool, mouldable lump of clay with a little skill. Under the guidance of the experienced master potter, a cup, bowl or plate is modelled on the wheel. Kneading, centring, breaking, lifting and shaping, then turning and smoothing. The course is aimed at anyone who already has experience with these steps, but is also suitable for newcomers to the potter's wheel. The finished vessels make beautiful and, above all, very personalised Christmas gifts. They can be taken home or sent to you (shipping costs possible).
