United Club Convention at Weltecho: Club Atlas - Lisbon

United Club Convention and Weltecho present DJ and producer Branko from Lisbon. Screening of the documentary "Club Atlas - Lisbon" followed by a panel on club culture in Lisbon and Chemnitz and an after-show party.

Weltecho presents DJ and producer Branko from Lisbon at the kick-off event of the Chemnitz 2025 project "United Club Convention".

He is co-founder of the kuduro band "Buraka Som Sistema", which is celebrated throughout Europe for its innovative sound between electronic music and Angolan influences. For his debut album "Atlas", Branko travelled the world and went in search of the musical DNA of various places with the documentary series "Club Atlas". The episode about his home city of Lisbon, which will be shown at Weltecho from 8pm, is particularly exciting.

Afterwards, he will talk to DJ and producer Sarah Farina from Berlin and Julia Voigt (Hand in Hand, Chemnitz) about club culture, musical influences and innovations. Moderated by Kerstin Meißner (Transmission, Berlin).
