Chemnitz' HEADS

On the occasion of the 35th anniversary of Galerie Weise

Portraits play a major role in the work of sculptor Ulrich Eißner. He is fascinated by personalities from his birthplace and home town, "Chemnitz Heads". His portrait of Stefan Heym can be found in the Chemnitz City Library.

The exhibition presents portrait sculptures by Hartwig Albiro, the coaching legend Jutta Müller, the Bauhaus artist Marianne Brandt, Karl Schmidt-Rottluff, Claus Dietel and others.

The planned exhibition venues are Galerie Weise in Chemnitz city centre and the Dorfgalerie Auerswalde.
