Unseen, Unheard, Unwanted is an invitation to engage with power, space and identity. In the exhibition, the queer-feminist art collectives Out of Order from Chemnitz and Richtung22 from Esch-sur-Alzette (Luxembourg, Capital of Culture 2022) create a space in the Stadtwirtschaft for perspectives that are often suppressed in everyday life, on the streets, in the art scene and in politics. The works of around 20 regional and international up-and-coming artists are as diverse as the artists themselves: uncomfortable, tender, pure, angry, poetic, political, simple, honest. Accompanied by a colourful supporting programme to join in, together with all visitors we set a counterpoint to ignorance, repression and intolerance.
