Visions of space

In the PLATZvisionen project, three landscape architects from Chemnitz are making previously overlooked squares visible and revitalising them in line with the Capital of Culture 2025 motto "C the Unseen".

Together with citizens and guests, the planners develop visions for these public spaces and collect ideas for a sustainable city. This event will focus on the square at/next to the Karl Marx Monument. With a colourful programme of music, talks and much more, visitors will be able to talk to the planners about their visions and those of the planners for this square.
